AB-TriplePlay is a FREE indicator to help you implement the Ninjacators Triple Play strategy. It automates drawing the 4 key price-lines on your charts and labels them clearly so you know at-a-glance which level the market is approaching and you can take action. The lines automatically update during the pre-market session and then 'freeze' at a time you specify (usually the 'cash open'). You can customize every aspect of the lines and labels printed on your screen and the times used for calculation. If you're using this strategy for daytrading already, I hope this indicator makes your trading just a little easier! If you have any suggestions, find any bugs or have any feedback, please email me using the contact link. Best of luck with your trading!
automatically updated price-levels
The indicator automatically plots the previous session's high and low on your chart. In addition, it monitors and updates, in real time, plots for the current session's high and low up until the point where you tell it to 'freeze' those levels.
No more converting timezones in your head! The indicator uses your local time and converts it as necessary. By default, it is set to start drawing your key levels at 5:30 ET and 'freeze' those levels at 9:30 ET. If you live outside the Eastern timezone, don't worry, the times are automatically converted for you!
labels and markers
Your key levels will are plotted on the screen and have price markers on the price axis so you can easily keep an eye on them throughout the day. In addition, you can choose to display customized labels for each line.
Almost everything about this indicator is customizable yet very easy to use. You can change the colours of each line representing each of the key price levels. You can add labels with customized text using whatever font at whatever size you like. Also, you can choose to use different times if the defaults don't work for you or if you just want to experiment with something else.
Figuring out how to customize or even write an indicator from scratch can be daunting. The code for this one is fully open-sourced and available via the git repo for this project. You can tear it apart, make any changes you want or maybe get a feel for how to make your own indicators!
